According to the 2010 United States Census the population of Camarillo was 65,201 and that the majority of residents were spread across 24,504 households Camarillo features a pleasant Mediterranean climate with mild ocean breezes and temperatures around the 70s the majority of the year. The city has only experienced three incidences of snowfall in the last thirty years. Camarillo is considered a bedroom community for the surrounding cities and is mainly made up of large housing tracts. In the city, 69.6% of homes are owner occupied and 30.4% are renter occupied. Homes for sale range from starter homes up through sprawling middle class homes and modern luxury homes. Rental properties include a variety of apartments, condominiums, townhouses and row homes.
